JoyToy WH40K Death Guard Typhus Herald of the Plague God

Estimated Available Date: December – 2026

Typhus — The Traveller, Herald of Nurgle, Host of the Destroyer Hive

Once Calas Typhon, First Captain of the Death Guard and the most gifted psyker in Mortarion’s Legion, he is now something far more terrible — and far more blessed. It was Typhon who secretly sabotaged the Death Guard’s Navigators aboard the fleet bound for Terra, trapping ten thousand warriors in the becalmed nightmare of the Warp and delivering them helplessly to the Destroyer Plague — Nurgle’s gift, which rotted them alive from within. While his brothers writhed and died, Typhon was rewarded: his body absorbed the plague entire, and he was reborn as Typhus — clad in corrupted Terminator Armour that has become as much a hive as a suit of war plate, seething with daemonic flies that pour endlessly from its cracks and vents in a living, buzzing cloud of pestilence. His most terrible weapon is not the towering manreaper scythe Lakrimae — though it reaps his enemies like wheat before the harvest — but the Destroyer Hive that dwells within him: a supernatural swarm of plague-bearing daemonic insects that engulfs his foes in crawling, murderous contagion. Ten thousand years on, Typhus still travels the galaxy, spreading Nurgle’s gifts without mercy — and considers himself the Plague God’s truest herald, more faithful even than Mortarion himself. Father Nurgle, I shall reap a terrible bounty from the death that I sow in your name.
